Arab Center for Agricultural Development (ACAD) has completed a training course for a group of women participants on Life Skills. The training is part of the project “Advancing the Rights of Vulnerable Palestinian Women and Children in East Jerusalem”.
The training has been carried out for women of Burj Luq Luq Social Center Society and African Community Society in Jerusalem and Domari Society of Gypsies in Jerusalem. The training course included seven session conducted during the period March 18 to May 18.
The sessions focused on providing participants with communication skills as well as self-appreciation, problem solving and empowering skills to enhance women role in their local community. 62 women participated in the training and the completion certificates were given to the beneficiaries from the three CBOs.
It’s worth mentioning that the project is funded by the European Union, managed by Heinrich Boll Stiftung and implemented in Jerusalem by ACAD in partnership with three CBOs: African Community Society, Burj Luq Luq Social Center Society and Domari Society of Gypsies in Jerusalem.
