ACAD Opens Project for Rehabilitation of Ein Arora Water Harvesting Well

In partnership with Bani Zaid Al-Sharqieh Municipality and the Palestinian Water Training Institute, ACAD celebrated on Wednesday 25 March 2015 the inauguration of Ein Arora Water Harvesting Well in Bani Zaid Al-Sharqieh town (Arora and Mazara’ An-Nobani). The inauguration took place in the presence of the French Consul General Mr. Herve Magru, Mr. Joudeh Al-Jamal Chairman of ACAD’s Board of Directors, Mr. Farah Arori, head of Bani Zaid Municipal Council, Engineer Saleh Rabi from the Palestinian Water Training Institute and a number of official personalities.

It is worth mentioning that the project comes within the cooperation and solidarity activities of “ groupe d’amitie France-Palestine” and with support from Agence de l’eau Rhône Méditerranée Corse, Conseilrégional Franche-Comté, Le département de l’Oubs, La ville de Besançon.

This project aims to provide larger quantities of water for the benefit of Bani Zaid town. Furthermore, the project sought to raise the awareness of children, youth and women on water and environment preservation as well as build their capacities in the same field.
